Give good work
a bigger audience.
Mike Hansen · Founder, Infinite Awards
I started the Infinite Awards because I want to see more companies take responsibility for what they make, how long it lasts, and what happens to it afterward.
That can mean designing a product people can repair, replacing disposable packaging with something people actually reuse, or finding another use for material that would otherwise be discarded. I want to make that work visible and help others learn from it.
Recognition that teaches us something
An award can bring attention to a company. The story behind it can show another business where to begin. That is why each recipient’s achievement will be explained in a published feature, with the results and practical lessons behind the recognition.
A person behind the decision
This is a project I run myself. I read introductions, follow up with companies, and make the award selection. My role is to ask careful questions, examine the evidence, and explain my judgment publicly. Where a claim needs technical expertise, I’ll seek input and make that person’s role clear.
You can read how I assess the work or get in touch with me.
A question worth staying with
Material Progress asks: is circularity really possible? I want to hear from people trying to make it work, including those who have hit a limit or changed their minds. Their experience will shape the conversations.
What gets rewarded gets repeated.
