Work worth
recognizing.
Our first annual cycle begins with the Infinite Award for Circular Progress: one company, one achievement others can learn from.
Who can be considered
Companies of any size and across industries can be nominated, including your own. We’re looking for work already in operation that keeps products or materials in use and reduces waste.
That could be a repair service, a refill system, a longer-lasting product, a production process that prevents waste, or material recovery with a useful destination. The company should be able to show what changed in practice.
What recognition includes
The recipient will receive a dedicated feature on the Infinite Awards website. It will explain the achievement, the results, why it was selected, and what other businesses can learn. The company can link to that feature when sharing its recognition.
The feature will name the product, facility, program, or business being recognized, along with the relevant year. This makes the achievement clear to customers, colleagues, and others learning from the work.
Free to be considered
There is no fee to nominate a company, be considered, or receive the published recognition in our first annual cycle. Payment cannot buy selection.
How to get started
Introduce a company with a few words about what it’s doing. Mike Hansen, the founder, will follow up to learn more and explain what information is needed. You don’t need to prepare an application or collect company records to make the introduction.
What counts as circular progress?
Changing how products and materials are designed, used, and recovered so they stay useful and less becomes waste. Our focus is products, packaging, materials, and associated production waste. Carbon savings alone do not establish a circular outcome.
Zero waste is the ambition. A company can qualify while still having work to do. Recognition covers the achievement described; it is not a certification of the entire company.
An annual program, built gradually
We’re starting with one award. In future annual cycles, we plan to add a small number of awards as our capacity grows. Any new awards and their criteria will be announced before the relevant cycle opens.
